Your investment enables the Capital Area Justice Ministry to transform the Tallahassee area into a region where justice and equity prevail over oppression and segregation.
Here are ways you can invest:
FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS INTO THE CAPITAL AREA JUSTICE MINISTRY train grassroots leaders to drive local policy change over the long haul. Paid staff develop leaders’ skills in building people power, researching for solutions, and negotiating with officials by way of one-on-ones, clergy board caucuses, ad hoc committees, and local training sessions.
Funding is also used to deepen leaders’ skills at regional and national conferences provided by the Direct Action and Research Center (DART). DART is a national organization that has built scores of community wide justice ministries over the course of nearly forty years.
If you’d like more information on how we’re funded and where that money goes, please get in touch. We’d love to talk.
The Capital Area Justice Ministry is a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization
Your financial pledge gives Big Bend residents a voice and a vehicle for solving deep systemic local problems in their own communities.
