Collective fundraising target
The Justice League Giving Tuesday Fundraiser brings together individuals, congregations, businesses, and community advocates who believe that lasting change begins with collective action. Our mission is simple: recruit 100 Justice Champions, each committing to raise funds through personal giving, peer-to-peer outreach, or both. Champions select a giving tier that reflects their capacity to mobilize support. Collectively, Justice Champions will raise $50,000.
$500 is the average across varied giving levels, not a required minimum for every participant.

Electronic Giving
Donors may contribute through the electronic payment methods available on CAJM’s official giving page: https://www.capitalareajustice.org/invest/. Donors should indicate “Giving Tuesday” in the notes or designation field. Champions record the donation on their tracking form; the Treasurer verifies it against CAJM records.
Check Donations
Make checks payable to Capital Area Justice Ministry and write “Giving Tuesday” in the check memo/notes field. Give the check to the Justice Champion for collection and submission to the CAJM Treasurer. Champions should record the check on the donation tracker and safeguard it until delivery.
Cash Donations
Donors may provide cash to their Justice Champion. The Champion is responsible for promptly recording the donation, protecting the funds, and submitting them to the Treasurer on or before December 1, 2026.
Recordkeeping and Annual Giving
Every donation must be recorded on the Champion Donation Tracker, regardless of payment method. Donations from CAJM members will be included in their overall annual giving and reflected on year-end giving statements, subject to the Treasurer’s verified records. The Treasurer will reconcile and approve final totals.
