Board Meeting

Purpose: Reflect on Action and plan next steps.

What we experienced at the Nehemiah InterAction was powerful, but we must be clear, moments do not sustain movements, leadership does. That is why May 5 matters. This is where we gather as leaders, take everything we felt, everything we saw, everything we heard, and make decisions about how we move forward.

This is where we align around our vision for this year: capacity, accountability, judicious engagement, and momentum. This is where we ask ourselves if we are truly building the capacity needed for this moment, if we are holding ourselves accountable to the commitments we have made, if we are being disciplined and strategic about the fights we choose, and if we are intentionally protecting and building on the momentum we have worked so hard to create.

The InterAction showed us what is possible. The Board Meeting is where we decide how far we are willing to go. What we do next will determine everything. We need leaders in the room who are ready to think clearly, speak boldly, and commit fully. This is a moment for ownership.
